By adding Watchtower to your Discord server or using any part of our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them. They're written to be clear, not confusing.
Watchtower is a community analytics and intelligence platform delivered primarily as a Discord bot. It provides sentiment analysis, community health tracking, risk detection, AI-powered reports, and related tools to help community managers understand and manage their Discord communities.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Watchtower. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.
You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service. Watchtower cannot be used in a way that violates Discord's platform rules.
Watchtower does not require you to create a separate account. Access is granted via Discord's OAuth and permission system. The person who adds Watchtower to a Discord server ("the Administrator") is responsible for how the bot is configured and used within that server.
Administrators are responsible for ensuring all community members in their server are aware that analytics and moderation tooling may be in use.
You agree to use Watchtower only for its intended purpose: community health monitoring, analytics, and moderation support. You agree not to:
Watchtower offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. No partial refunds are issued for unused time in a billing period, except where required by law.
⚠️ Prices are subject to change. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing pricing for existing subscribers.
Where a free trial is offered, it provides full or limited access to a paid tier for a specified period. No charge is made during the trial. After the trial ends, you will be charged at the standard rate unless you cancel before the trial concludes.
Watchtower and all associated branding, software, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our software or branding without written permission.
You retain ownership of your community's data. By using Watchtower, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.
Watchtower uses AI (powered by third-party language models) to generate community reports, summaries, and recommendations. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only.
Watchtower can optionally connect to Reddit and Steam to include public data in reports. By enabling these integrations, you confirm that you have the right to use publicly available data from those platforms in this context, and that your use complies with Reddit's and Steam's respective terms of service.
We aim to keep Watchtower running reliably, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
You may stop using Watchtower at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server. Active paid subscriptions must be cancelled separately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Watchtower at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, Discord's Developer Policy, or applicable laws. Where possible, we will provide notice before terminating access.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Watchtower and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice via the email or Discord contact we have on file, or via a notice in the Watchtower Discord support server. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Watchtower operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
